Usher Program : Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a dress code?

Yes. A strictly enforced dress code aids ushers in presenting a uniformed, pleasant and professional demeanor to the patronage. While ushering at the theatre, all ushers are asked to wear long-sleeved white dress shirts with collars and solid black pants. Ladies may wear black skirts which are knee-length or longer. Nice, but comfortable, black dress shoes & black bowties will complete the look.

Is parking provided for ushers?

No. There are several parking facilities, surface lots and metered parking next to the theatre. For detailed information regarding parking, directions and public transportation to the theatre, please click here.

Please allow ample time to find parking before you arrive for check-in. If you arrive after the pre-show meeting has begun you may not be permitted to stay.

What if I am unable to work an event for which I am scheduled?

Of course, things happen from time to time that may prevent you from attending an event for which you are scheduled. In these cases, it is essential that you notify us prior to the event either by calling the Ushers Line or by e-mail.
