The newly restored Hippodrome Theatre at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center welcomes world-class entertainment as the premier showcase for performing arts in the Mid-Atlantic Region. The Center encompasses three restored historic landmark buildings; The Western National Bank, The Eutaw Savings Bank, and The Hippodrome Theatre, as well as the newly constructed Constellation Energy Pavilion. The Western National Bank is now the grand north lobby of the theatre, the Eutaw Savings Bank has become The M&T Bank Pavilion, a unique multi-purpose space for receptions and special events, and the impressive Hippodrome Theatre will now seat 2,280.

The France-Merrick Performing Arts Center is host to a rich
and diverse collection of uniquely entertaining performances; from modern dance to dramatic plays,
jazz and gospel performances to family entertainment,
Broadway musicals to community events.

pre- and post-show receptions, fundraisers, proms, banquets, private parties, weddings, bridal and baby showers,
corporate galas, meetings, trade shows,
